- Installation
ReadyDesk is easily installed by running the downloadable setup program, which takes about 1 minute. IIS web server and directory permissions are set for you automatically.
PHP Edition (Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac, etc.)

Unix, Linux, Mac, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP Pro, Windows NT Server, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server or any other operating system that supports PHP.

- Software
Zend Optimizer is required for the PHP edition of ReadyDesk. It can be freely downloaded from http://www.zend.com if you do not already have it installed.
- Remote Desktop
If your server is a non-Windows server, such as Linux, you will need a Local Windows-based computer to compile the executable your customers will use to connect remotely. You will also need a Windows-based computer to run the Windows version of the repeater. An optional Linux version of the repeater is included.
- Installation
If ReadyDesk is being installed on a Windows server, you can run the automated installer, which takes less than 1 minute. If you are installing on NON-Windows operating system, such as Unix, Linux, Mac, etc., you can simply unzip the files to the proper location on your web server. You must also have access to set short_open_tags to On and magic_quotes_gpc to Off in your server's php.ini file if for some reason these values are not recognized in the included .ini file.
